    Description

    Incredibly colorful lithographed calendar from H Clausen & Son Brewery, New York, NY with smaller inset images and a wonderful image of a couple above the 1886 calendar.   This is the good part....
    The bad part is this has been, ahem, trimmed.  Unfortunately the surviving fragment seems to be about 2/3's of the original calendar as the name is partially cut off at the top and there should be two more images for the 2 missing seasons.  there is also damage around the original edges a bit too.   Then, this had been glued down in a scrap book or something so the back is no picnic either.  Ooh who am I kidding, it's a dumper.
    But, it is an 1886 dumper that is still very nice too look at and what the heck can ya do 135 years later.  Its still the best one I have ever seen.    This piece is 10.5 by 14 inches as is.
