late 18th early 19th C
gorgeous polychrome and gilt enamel porcelain covered serving dish
exquisitely decorated with two American crested spread-winged eagles, striped shield
with cobalt blue accents, olive branch and arrows in its talons, gilt enamel sun rays
beautiful oval finial, exceptional netted geometric border surround,
floral sprays in purple motif around cover and base,
on creamy white porcelain ground
has been cabinet displayed and beautifully preserved
