RARE FINE ANTIQUE CHINESE COBALT BLUE PORCELAIN TRIPOD BOWL
The featured item represents a Chinese monochrome porcelain bowl that measures approximately 2" tall, 6 1/8" inner
diameter at the opening and 2 3/8" wide at the base.
The piece has a round bulbous shape and is finished in cobalt "sacrificial" blue glaze. There are 8 applied "nail head" bosses
on the exterior. The bowl is raised on three feet and the base is unglazed and swirled.
The item comes in overall good condition for its age. There are some scratches, marks and scuffs with the interior showing a
bit more wear and scratching. Wear to the bottom of the legs. Two small slightly bumpy and with missing glaze spots on the
exterior. Glaze crackling and hairline on the inside wall, extending to the rim and the exterior wall but it appears to be stable
and not deep. Aside that, other small production flaws and imperfections.
