    Description

    For your consideration is an excellent early Song partially crackled celedon. It is crackled around the edges but not in the middle. The exterior surface has a series of lines etched in the bowl just below the outer rim. There are no nicks, cracks, or dings of any kind. There are only age related glaze imperfections. This merely authenticates the piece though.
    Provenance: Purchased from a Chinese antique dealer 40 years ago, prior to the rise in popularity of ancient Chinese artifacts and now being sold by a Pebble Beach, CA estate.
