LARGE 19TH C. ANTIQUE CHINESE EXPORT ORMOLU BRONZE MOUNTED POWDER BLUE FAMILLE VERTE LIDDED BOW
Up for auction is a large antique Chinese export powder blue famille verte porcelain bowl and cover dating from the Qing Dynasty, 19th century.  The porcelain bowl is mounted with an impressive
ormolu bronze base of
four lion paws
and a floral finial on top of the cover.
Condition Report
The lidded bowl is in excellent condition considering it's a pre-owned antique.  There are some very light crackle lines on the base of the bowl; the crackles are present due to the item's antique age.  These lines aren't hairline cracks, which are the result of broken porcelain.  The porcelain bowl, the lid, and the ormolu bronze are in excellent condition without any damages.
