Description
Description - A fine 3 piece silver plated chafing dish . The base with paw feet , lid foliate decorated with an dog and "Aye Ready". My best guess that it was a presentation piece or possibly made for a special event , like a high ranking fireman retiring do to the Firedog connection .
Age - ca 1900
Size - 12 " in diameter x about 8 " tall with base .
Condition - Very good overall condition  ,free of any significant wear. Probably missing an inner pan/ liner.
