    Description

Up for bid is an Authentic Native American Hand Carved & Painted Wooden Wolf Rattle from The Quileute Tribe of La Push Washington State on the Olympic Peninsula of the Pacific Northwest along the Pacfic Ocean.
According to their ancient creation story, the Quileutes
    were changed from wolves
    by a wandering Transformer.
Sounds like there are only a few rattling "beans" inside, so not a whole lot of noise.  There is a crack in the wood handle (see last photo).  The paint is in excellent condition.  Abalone eyes are over 2" in diameter and are gorgeous!
Measures appoximately 15 inches long and just over 3.5 inches wide
We were told this rocking rattle was painted by native artisan Dakota Smith, but it is not signed.
