Antique Chinese bowl here to offer, continuing our listings from an old local estate collection!
Very fine hand painted enamel work, of an old wise man relaxing outdoors next to a peach. The artwork is of the finest quality! Possibly completed by a known/important artist of the period.
Has 4 hairlines, and one very small rim chip. Long end point of orange markers indicate location. The bowl body is a thin build, but very hard, very white porcelain. Not eggshell type porcelain.
Part of an old stamp mark remains on bottom.
Bowls measures 3” h x 6” w (7.62cm x 15.24cm).
