This lovely bowl is marked “Hand painted in Hong Kong,” and it seems to have some age.
I've seen bowls of this style that are very old imports from China, but this is probably a more modern-day replica.
Having collected lots of porcelain and glass, I put the age around 1900 or so......however, this is just my opinion.
The bowl 3.25” high with a diameter of 8.25”.
The coat of arms has two birds...maybe doves....blue swags and a flower that I can't identify.
There is gilding throughout and painted bands on the inside and outside rim.
Condition
:
No chips or cracks.
Some loss to gilding.
