This vintage Masonic coin (penny or token) is from the Northwest Chapter No. 224 R. A. M. in Chicago, Illinois - a chapter no longer listed among active chapters. The obverse identifies the chapter, with a large Deltain the center, and the reverse
has
the words
ONE PENNY
and images of a chisel, maul, and large ornate, textured keystone.
The diameter i
s approximately 35 mm (1-3/8"), and the composition is copper (perhaps brass?).
This item is in extremely fine condition, with light actual wear, signs of handling, toning, and some soiling, and it is bright.
