    Description

    For sale is a fine old Chinese silver small lobed dish with flat chased decoration.  The piece is 3 ½ inches in diameter by 7/8 inch tall and weighs 36 grams.  The dish has a six-lobed form with rolled-over edge and a high ring foot.  The top is chased with a scene of a butterfly and a fruiting branch, possibly a citron.  It has never been monogrammed.  The piece is marked on the base with two Chinese kanji stamps, one of which is obscured by the chasing
    Condition on the dish is fairly good.  There are some dents to the rim and foot edge, some stubborn tarnish and normal wear from use.  A nice old piece of Chinese silver!
