Marked Chinese Stacking Bowl Box Compartments 3 Tier / Estate Sale! Japan?

Description

Estate sale! Owner was born in 1918. There are marks on each bowl that look Chinese but maybe Japan Japanese. I don’t know; I’m not an expert on this stuff. Decorations are flowers and birds. I don’t see any chips or damage. These have aired out for 20 years, and smell OK. But they are from a smoker home and have nicotine haze on the exterior that needs to be washed off. The interiors are clean.
