    Description

    Welcome! For auction is this old Chinese Cizhou type bowl measuring appx. 5 5/8" wide across the body and 3 1/4" tall. Wear and polishing to rim. Potting flaws, scratches, wear and abrasion. Small nicks and flakes. Two cracks in base which do not go through. Several gouges in pottery which are original to manufacture. Somewhat irregular shape. Some underglaze white slip splashes in interior. Lovely old bowl. Likely Song-Ming dynasty. Originally acquired in Japan. Please see images for details.
