Original Ford C6FE GT40 Shelby GT350 Cobra Dragonsnake "cheater" heads rare

These Ford C6FE GT40 high flow heads were removed from a drag race motor approximately 40 years ago.  They are known as ”cheater" heads.
As you can see from the photos, the C6FE casting numbers have been ground off.  This was done so tech inspectors would assume the heads were standard 289 hipo heads.  The heat riser port on each head has also been welded closed - a common practice by drag racers back in the day.
Intake ports measure approx 2.145" by 1.275".  Exhaust ports measure approx 1.50" by 1.130".  Fitted with 1.875" intake valves & 1.60" exhaust valves.  These are “cheater” heads, so even though they’ve been ported, no porting company stampings (Valley or Mondello) were visible to tip off tech inspectors.
I've owned more than a dozen sets of C6FE heads and these are some of the best castings I've seen.  (Many C6FE heads have water leaks or cracks near the end head bolts).  For the buyer’s protection, the heads will be pressure tested.  If they don't pass you don't own them.
After sitting for 35 years, the heads should be freshened, retainers/springs replaced, etc.
A pair of nice condition C6FE heads can sell for ,000 or more.  Here's a chance to own an original set for considerably less money.
