P-Bass Style Body & Bridge for Project Elton John's Bass Players Old Bass NR

Up for bidding is a P-Bass style bass body with bridge and neck plate. This body is from one of Bob Birch's first basses, a VMI Cruze.  Bob was Elton John's bass player for twenty years from 1992 to 2012. He also toured with Jose Feliciano and many other notable musicians including Gregg Bissonette.  Bob's father, Chet, use to be one of our employees who called on local schools for the band business. One junior high was in need of a bass but had no budget, so Chet convinced his son, Bob, to donate one of his old ones to the school. The school brought it in today (many years later) with a unfix-able broken headstock and so they decided to trade the parts for something else. Upon removing the neck, we found Bob Birch's name and phone number (obscured for privacy) on a folded up Rolodex card used as a neck shim. Body has a few nicks on it but for a project will make a nice start as it includes the bridge and four bolt neck plate. Shipping is .00 to any USA address.
