    Description

    A rare copy of the 1900 History of San Francisco Fire Department by Harry C. Pendleton.  A poor to fair reading and research copy of this history of the San Francisco Fire Department published on the eve of the 1906 earthquake and fire.  This book rarely comes up for sale on eBay or any where else.  The cover has water damage, staining and rubbing with the text block beginning to separate from the binding. One page detached but present and other pages show browning, chips and minor tears with previous owners handwritten name, address and label inside front and back covers-otherwise a readable copy for the serious American firefighting history collector.
