    Description

The Sapjack is a unique tool created to remove unwanted volunteer saplings or weeds that are too strong to be pulled with hands.  Click on demonstration video -

The tool uses pry bar leverage to multiply your strength and transfer it to the base of strong saplings.    The unique curved, perforated jaw grabs the sapling securely, jacking it out of the ground by the roots without messy digging or chemicals.  Simply set the base of the Sapjack on the right side of the unwanted sapling, with the foot extended toward you.  Open the jaw by pushing the handle forward and slide the tool over the sapling.  Pull back on the handle to close the jaw and remove the sapling, all in one motion.  Shake the sapling free and you're ready for the next removal.  Works best with moderate soils and strong plants.  Hard soil problems can often be overcome by watering before pulling.
Every Sapjack is made of heavy steel, cut, drilled, welded and assembled by hand in the U.S.A.  It incorporates a 24" steel pry-bar for leverage and strength as well as a 1/2" stainless steel hex-bolt pivot for strength and durability.  Curved perforated jaw design securely grips the sapling without clinging after removal.  Approximate tool height is 25", jaw opening 1" and tool weight nearly 4 lbs.
