Tang Dynasty Silver Bowl with decorations618 - 907 AD
Tang Dynasty silver bowl, finely worked in repousse of crouching deer and flower petals medallion. The outside of the bowl, as well as the base are decorated with finely incised designs of flowers surrounding by mandarin-ducks. The outside and inside rims of the bowl as well as the foot are circled by a strip of lotus flowers petals. Raised on a splayed, angular circle foot incised with decorations.
