Description
This vintage Masonic coin (penny or token) is from the Jefferson City Chapter No. 34 R. A. M. in Jefferson City, Missouri. The obverse identifies the chapter, withthe words
ONE PENNY
in the center, and
the reverse has
images of a chisel, mallet, and textured keystone.
The diameter i
s approximately 32 mm (1-1/4"), and the composition is copper.
This item is in extremely fine condition, with no apparent actual wear, with signs of handling and toning, and it is bright. A coin collector would describe this item as 'red and brown' due to toning with retention of some of the original reddish copper color.
