Description
This vintage Masonic token (penny or coin) is from the Morrow Chapter No. 143 R. A. M. in Morrow, Ohio. The obverse identifies the chapter and hasthe words
ONE PENNY
in the center. The reverse has images of a chisel, maul, and ornate keystone. The composition is copper, the diameter is
approximately 31 mm (nearly 1-1/4"), and the edge is reeded (milled) as on a U. S. dime.
This item is in extremely fine condition, with very light actual wear, signs of handling, and toning, and it remains bright. A coin collector would describe this item as 'red and brown' due to some toning, with retention of much of the original reddish copper color.
