vintage & uncommon J.V. Reed metal dustpan plain unpainted silvertone made USA

Seller is frequently surprised to learn that, for whatever reason, he possesses the unusual item of a kind. So it is with this dustpan, which is the only
plain and unpainted silvertone
one he sees out there at the moment. Painted ones and coppertone ones and rusty ones may be found, but no bright silver finish ones.
Pan is made of plated steel
and is
7 1/2" inches deep and
a wide
11 3/4" along the leading edge.
The white rubber/vinyl leading edge of this
pre-owned
pan is rather stiff and is no longer bright white, but the edge is not torn, ragged, or loose. The pan itself is for the most part as shiny and bright as a new dime, and shows only a trace of floor wear next to the manufacturer's stamp on the underside.
