    Description

For your consideration please find this Exquisite piece of Native American Seed Beadwork from the Navajo Culture dating back to the 1950's.  Most likely from the New Mexico region.
This belonged to my husband's aunt who worked for the Bureau of Indian Affairs starting the beginning of the 1950's through the 1960's. She would have been 102 years old today.
The seeds are intricately sewn onto what I believe is deer hide.  It's super soft and supple.  The zipper says Crown USA (1950's hallmark).  It measures 3.25 inches in diameter.  It's a small piece.
On one of the corners next to the zipper, a few of the beads have come away and have fallen off.
The zipper is fully functional that said, I am selling this piece As-Is.  The beads on the edge described above needs to be fixed before use.
The beads are so small and design so intricate, that I find it museum or art gallery quality.  The colors are just amazing!
I am also listing quite a few vintage and antique pieces from the same estate so please stay tuned for more!
